Job Summary

We're looking for a results-driven

Digital PR & Communications Specialist

to help grow the visibility, reputation, and authority of our brands through strategic, high-impact outreach. You'll work closely with our SEO and content teams to deliver digital PR campaigns that earn quality backlinks, generate meaningful media coverage, and fuel organic performance across traditional search and emerging LLM (large language model) search platforms.

This is a role for someone who knows how to tell a good story and get it placed - whether it's through a timely pitch, original research, or a sharp newsjacking angle. You'll help us build relationships with top-tier journalists, bloggers, and influencers, and use PR strategically to drive measurable growth in brand authority.

What You'll Own & Lead:

Plan and deliver digital PR campaigns designed to win high-authority backlinks, media coverage, and brand visibility. Work closely with our SEO and content teams to ensure campaigns support organic growth and LLM search optimisation goals. Monitor trends and breaking news to identify relevant and timely opportunities for reactive outreach and commentary. Develop outreach materials including press releases, data-led stories, and media pitches that capture editorial interest. Build and manage relationships with key media contacts, including journalists, bloggers, and influencers across sectors. Bring expertise in tools like ResponseSource, Roxhill, and BuzzStream, with a data-informed point of view on how to evolve our PR tech stack. Collaborate with internal and freelance content creators to produce story assets such as surveys, expert quotes, visual content, and blog posts. Ensure all campaigns are fully tracked and reported on, with insights and recommendations shared to improve performance. Stay on top of PR, content, SEO, and AI/LLM landscape trends to keep campaigns forward-looking and competitive.

What You Bring to the Table

5-7 years of hands-on experience in digital PR, comms, or media relations - either in-house or at a digital agency. Strong understanding of how digital PR supports SEO, brand building, and visibility in both traditional and AI-powered search results. Proven ability to earn high-quality press placements and backlinks across a range of media - national, industry, and lifestyle. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for crafting compelling outreach material. Confident working independently on outreach campaigns (pitching, follow-ups, relationship management). Experience using outreach and PR tools (e.g. Roxhill, Vuelio, Cision, BuzzStream, ResponseSource, HARO). Ability to manage multiple campaigns at once, track details carefully, and meet clear deadlines. Well-organised, proactive, and able to work cross-functionally with SEO, design, content, and brand teams. Bonus points for experience with data storytelling, original research campaigns, or expert commentary PR.

Who You'll Be Working With

You'll be surrounded by passionate, talented changemakers with big ambitions--not just for our business but for our world. Our teams are based remotely and on-site in London and Glasgow, and you'll be the critical cultural connector between them all. We're a company striving for best-in-class service through empathy, integrity, and innovation--and we want you to be the voice and leader who helps us get there.
