The role in short



We're seeking a talented and results-driven Digital PR Manager to own and drive our outreach and link building strategy. This is a pivotal role within our marketing team, aimed at amplifying Plumbworld's digital footprint through creative PR campaigns, strong media relationships, and authoritative backlinks that fuel organic growth.

You will lead the ideation, creation, and outreach of campaigns that not only earn links from top-tier media and relevant niche publications but also enhance our brand's reputation across the web.

Key Responsibilities



Own and develop the Digital PR strategy, aligning it with the SEO team's link acquisition goals. Lead creative campaign ideation with a focus on data storytelling, product trends, and lifestyle PR. Build and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and influencers in relevant sectors. Proactively identify newsworthy opportunities and monitor trends to craft timely and compelling pitches. Secure high-quality backlinks through press coverage, thought leadership, expert commentary, and campaign placements. Report on campaign success metrics: coverage volume, link quality, authority, and SEO performance impact. Collaborate with our content and SEO teams to ensure all PR aligns with brand tone, product goals and search intent.

Requirements



Proven experience in Digital PR, SEO outreach, or online journalism. A strong network of media contacts in national, lifestyle, or home improvement sectors is a big plus. Demonstrable link acquisition success through content-led PR campaigns. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to analyse campaign performance and pivot strategies based on data. Creativity, curiosity, and the drive to experiment with formats and angles to stand out.

Preferred Qualifications



Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with industry-standard SEO tools and platforms (e.g. GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs -although not mandatory).
