Digital PR Specialist

Our growing client based in Manchester is currently building a marketing team, they are looking for a Digital PR specialist who will be instrumental in building relevant, high quality backlinks. The company foster a collaborative, digital-first approach, where bold and creative thinking is encouraged.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full link-building process from ideation to outreach
• Work closely with the SEO manager to form a link-building strategy that drives quality traffic
• Monitor campaign performance, reporting on progress and KPIs
• Define and lead core workstreams such as hero campaigns, reactive link building, blog outreach etc.
• Work closely with the marketing team, from design to development and copy to traditional PR
• Collaborate with and share back to the team in marketing meetings
• Ensure brand adherence in all link-building campaign activity
• Continually optimise campaigns to ensure consistent improvement

Experience and skills:

• Experience working within a marketing department, managing a function focused on organic growth
• Experience overseeing the production process, and working closely with involved colleagues such as designers, copywriters, developers, etc.
• Ability to pivot campaigns that perform below expectations, turning them into a success
• Deep understanding of how link building and Digital PR drive meaningful SEO results
• The ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure the link acquisition strategy works well for every aspect of the business
• an understanding of our audience and how to use data to build targeted campaigns
