Job Role

As a Digital Print Finishing Operator (Digicon) your primary focus will be to ensure the timely production of finishing print work, using all available finishing equipment. Our ideal candidate will have experience of operating machines such as: Digicon Lite, Digicon Series 2, Digicon Series 3 & Digicon Series 4.

Working in collaboration with the whole Production team, this role requires the ability to deliver a high standard of work in a fast-paced production environment on a consistent basis. Your main task involves ensuring the consistent production of finishing high-quality printed labels. Diligence is paramount for this role in ensuring we achieve the exacting requirements of our growing customer base.

Time management & prioritization is essential as well as the ability to think on your feet - every day is challenging. The ability to identify solutions quickly and effectively and be client-driven is essential.

Employees daily responsibilities, include but not limited to -

Operating a Digicon finishing machine.

Product inspection checks.

Prioritising workload with the team.

Basic administrative work including data entry.

The role is a full-time permanent position working on site with a competitive salary of 24,000 - 30,000 per annum, dependent on previous experience, competence & performance. Working a 40-hour week on a double day shift Monday to Friday. Early shift 6am - 2pm, late shift 2pm to 11pm Monday to Thursday and 2pm - 6pm Fridays.

Strong diligence.

Flexible approach and able to use own initiative when required.

Ability to effectively manage your own workload.

Effective time management skills are essential.

Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict delivery deadlines.

Target & client driven.

Experience within a print finishing environment is desired.

Preferred 1 years' experience working in a print finishing environment.
