Role Overview




The poster holder will be responsible for accurately producing print work in line with job specifications.


Primary Objectives



Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department; Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied; QC to job requirements; Maintain and process work according to the production schedule; Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered; Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department; Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations; Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed (training will be given if needed).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience



Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes; Experience with HP Flatbeds, Agfa, efi Vutek is preferable but not essential; Understanding Windows Operating systems Operational experience with print; Demonstrable attention to detail; Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious; Flexible and effective team member.
