Our Role
The Digital Production Executive plays a critical role in supporting the content and structure of The White Company website to drive global digital growth. As part of the Digital Content team, this role is responsible for the delivery, publishing and optimisation of website content, ensuring a high level of accuracy, consistency and customer experience.
This position has a strong operational focus, requiring excellent workload management, stakeholder communication and campaign planning skills. The role also supports the Digital Content & Production Manager in delivering the rolling content plan and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll be doing
Content Production

  • Update and publish website content in line with Content Planning, Weekly Trade meetings and ad hoc requests, ensuring high first-time accuracy.
  • Support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance content quality, delivery efficiency and trading performance.
  • Maintain and update documentation when processes change, reinforce content SLAs, and identify process weaknesses with the Digital Content & Production Manager.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) across all CMS platforms, ensuring systems are fully optimised and issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain site standards and ensure consistency in look and feel across content types: Evergreen, Aspirational and Functional.
  • Brief relevant teams on seasonal updates and amendments where required.
  • Ensure all content is SEO-optimised in collaboration with Marketing and Editorial teams.
  • Proactively monitor and resolve 404 errors, working with Web Analytics to track root causes and reduce recurring issues.
  • Drive an error-free, high-quality digital experience through rigorous QA processes.
Customer Experience
  • Own the launch and execution of all online refreshes and campaign updates, ensuring content balances commercial objectives with editorial integrity.
  • Apply competitor insights and web best practice to create fluid, intuitive customer journeys.
  • Enhance content discoverability and eliminate dead-ends across all content types.
  • Optimise on-site campaigns, promotions, messaging and navigation using data insights and feedback.
  • Ensure all output aligns with industry standards and reflects actionable performance insights.
  • Set the QA standard across the Digital Trading team, encouraging a culture of accountability before and after go-live.
Planning & Delivery
  • Proactively manage and track BAU content workload, ensuring forward visibility of capacity and priorities.
  • Support the delivery of the Content Plan, ensuring major launches meet key milestones and risks are proactively managed.
  • Coordinate workload across Content Production and wider team members, ensuring clarity on deliverables, timelines and processes.
  • Confidently prioritise based on customer impact and business value, pushing back where necessary -- particularly in high-pressure trading periods.
  • Own and maintain the Seasonal Critical Path, ensuring all Trade, Feature and Campaign activity is delivered accurately and on time.
Stakeholder Management
  • Regularly communicate content status updates to Digital Trading and Senior stakeholders.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Brand, Marketing, Editorial and Creative teams.
  • Champion content production processes, identifying inefficiencies and facilitating solutions.
  • Log and prioritise system issues with IT and Continuous Improvement teams, escalating critical blockers appropriately.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused and customer-service mindset in all stakeholder interactions.
What skills & experience you'll need
  • Experience on how content management systems operate.
  • Good understanding of HTML and CMS.
  • Experience of Content Square or Adobe Analytics is desirable, but not necessary.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure within deadlines is essential.
  • Highly organised and flexible, with appreciation of shifting priorities and reacting to change requests.
  • Work well within a team and have a respectable and pro-active, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Good understanding of websites (either working directly or with other departments or suppliers) across content and functionality and able to self-serve basic content on the sites.
  • Knowledge and passion about online and multi-channel retail and customer experience would be advantageous.
