Circa 55,000 + benefits

Up to 12 months FTC (maternity cover)

Full time (35 hours per week)

Wimbledon (hybrid and flexible working - once per week in the office)

The role


As a Digital Project Manager, you will be working closely with the Head of Digital & Technology and the IT Project Portfolio Manager, and you will be responsible for managing the development and timely release of new CIPD systems and solutions.

This role involves a significant degree of business analysis and project management at a high level of expertise. You'll be managing various projects, such as delivering software implementations, web-based development, implementation and improvement projects.

What you'll be doing

Consulting with key business stakeholders to elicit solution requirements and produce specifications that can be used to define project deliverables. Operating in a professional project management context, adapting proven project approaches to achieve quality deliverables, as appropriate. Closely collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external resources throughout project life cycles, gaining an understanding of business problems, defining solutions and designing appropriate approaches to achieving quality project deliverables. Effectively translating user requirements and business cases into functional specifications and developing project plans using PRINCE2 and/or Agile approaches. Ensuring that product functionality meets functional when delivered adheres to technical and user requirements, in particular those addressing security, usability, data protection, statutory standards and systems architecture standards. Advising on new technologies, approaches or solutions to enable new methods of organising and executing business processes. Providing effective project planning and excellent communication at all levels. Effectively managing allocated project budgets, timescales and quality of deliverables. Reporting on project progress, presenting information to senior management andor 3rd parties as appropriate.

What you'll need to be successful

Significant experience in a Project Management with a PRINCE2 or PMI qualification Experience in delivery of large-scale software implementation projects, including exposure to full project lifecycle (change control and risk management) Experience delivering complex projects at pace, to deadlines and agreed budgets Experience in business analysis, business consulting and change management Technical skills such as Salesforce, Oracle NetSuite, Okta and associated products Strong consulting skills and commercial awareness Experience of working with non-technical and technical stakeholders Excellent communication, experience in translating user requirements and business cases into functional specifications Customer-focused approach to delivery and sound experience of implementing business systems and web technologies Understanding of the software development processes Strong time management and leadership skills A good team player with a proactive approach and desire to drive projects forward with high initiative.
