Introduction



An exciting opportunity has become available for a Digital Support Apprentice to provide support with the launch and maintenance of a new Adult Learning Lewisham website.


What's the role?



Planning and delivering digital content that considers best user journeys, you will work with colleagues from a wide range of services to review, optimise and improve areas on the website to improve the user journey and support the Council's aims and objectives. You will support the development and roll-out of our new digital content strategy, with a focus on our website and intranet.


This role is an 18 month temporary contract


What's in it for you?



The Digital Support Apprentice will liaise with the web developers and stakeholders from across the business to ensure the new website meets the needs of the service as well as keeping relevant content up to date.


The post holder will also support the marketing department in the creation of high-quality digital assets, across video, photography, and copy for use on the website and, social media.


Along the way, you will be working towards a Digital Support Technician Level 3 qualification.

What we're looking for



Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail. Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) or a willingness to learn. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Location



The post is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, and the Brockley Rise Adult Education Centre, but you may be required to work from any of our centres depending on service need.
