The Role



Titchfield Digital Support Ltd is looking for a skilled and experienced Digital Technician to join our technical team. This role involves taking a leadership position within the technical department, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of digital systems, and providing expert guidance to junior technicians. The Senior Technician will be responsible for ensuring the highest technical standards, mentoring the team, and driving operational efficiency.

Duties include:

Lead the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex digital systems. Diagnose and resolve high-level technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. Provide expert support to both internal teams and clients, ensuring issues are resolved with minimal disruption. Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level technicians, ensuring they follow technical best practices. Assist in the training and development of technical staff, helping them enhance their skills and knowledge. Supervise the work of technicians on larger projects and ensure that tasks are completed to specification. Act as a point of escalation for complex issues, ensuring the technical team can effectively resolve challenges. Lead technical projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet client requirements and are delivered on time. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of projects and service requests. Manage resources and technical inventory for ongoing projects, ensuring the team has what it needs. Assist with managing and tracking tools, equipment, and inventory using the Hilti On!Track system. Ensure that technical equipment is well-maintained and fully functional. Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in improving asset management practices. Communicate directly with clients to understand their technical needs and provide high-level solutions. Manage customer relationships by delivering expert technical support and ensuring satisfaction. Work closely with the sales and project management teams to provide technical expertise during proposal and project planning phases.

What is expected of you



A relevant technical degree, diploma, or equivalent industry certification. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior technician or technical support role. Proven experience in troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining digital systems. Experience with inventory management systems, particularly Hilti On!Track, is a plus. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Proficient in technical tools and diagnostic software. Knowledge of safety standards and compliance in a technical environment.
