About the role

As a Digital Workplace Engineer, you will be responsible for leading large scale software or hardware deployments and coordinating to ensure solutions are implemented consistently in office throughout the firm. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Manages the design, and coordinates the installation, of various workplace solutions including, occupancy & environmental sensors, meeting room displays, and digital signage systems for the firm. Acts as \xe2\x80\x9cSubject Matter Expert\xe2\x80\x9d regarding these solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities for enhancing security systems including access controls systems, event management systems and smart board/collaboration technologies.
  • Coordinating with the audio visual engineer the installation of video walls and other multi-media wall installations including identifying and managing third-party content; assisting audio visual engineer in design and support of firm AV systems including room control systems, digital projection and conferencing systems.
  • Utilizing your technical creativity to identify and implement additional enhancements and new software solutions for our legal professionals and administrative departments.
  • Developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining default system configurations for smart office technology
  • Working with the firms audio visual and videoconference teams to ensure consistency, compatibility, and defining firm standards.
  • Troubleshooting problems of digital smart systems and coordinating solutions with department and vendors; working with vendors to build custom integration solutions between various hardware and software systems.
About you

Join our team if you:
  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Microsoft Windows Enterprise, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Possess knowledge and proficiency with administration and maintenance of relational databases used by supported applications
  • Exhibit knowledge of Rest API\xe2\x80\x99s and API Development; possess knowledge of database tools including SQL Management Studio
  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of remote communication methodologies
And have:
  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or related field or appropriate work experience
  • Experience in a PC hardware and general applications software
  • Experience with digital signage or other smart technologies
  • Experience with enterprise audiovisual systems and conference room technologies; experience supporting a large, multi-office environment
