Salary:

Up to 42,389.32: (38,264.81 basic salary per annum with yearly increments based on performance plus a non-contractual/non pensionable Skills for the Information Age supplement of up to 4,124.51 amount awarded either 0%.50% or 100% based on validation of self-assessment).

Contract Type

: Permanent.

Location:

To be based at one of our main hubs (London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Leeds or Glasgow) London Allowance of 4,427.65 payable to London based candidates only.

Type of Working Arrangement

: Blended approach of home and office-working is available.

Hours:

This is full-time role (37 hours per week).

Digital Workplace Engineer

to join the Solutions Team.


The Digital Workplace Solutions team are responsible for the technical design, development and implementation of innovative services and solutions that improve collaboration, communication, mobility, and productivity.


As a Digital Workplace Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting the force wide adoption of Microsoft 365, the development of secure and robust solutions within Microsoft Power Platform, as well as delivering solutions that make the best use of our broad M365 E5 licencing, and the capabilities of Azure.

Main Responsibilities:



Provide specialist 3rd line expertise relating to Microsoft solutions and services within an ITIL environment. Assist in the delivery of Power Platform-based systems and services including developing model-driven and canvas apps, automations and integrations with 3rd party systems. Undertake engagement with business stakeholders, working to ensure customer needs are understood and met. Work closely with the team to maximise efficient development practices and adherence to project timelines. Ensure that all solutions are tested, documented, and subject to necessary internal approvals. Support the ongoing adoption of Microsoft 365 across the organisation. Support other workstreams and services provided by the team.

Essential Skills

:

Broad competence in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform. Experience working within Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Azure to deliver solutions. Experience working in a regulated or similar environment. Experience with.Net, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON and with APIs. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams. Great interpersonal and verbal/written communications, presentations, and possesses exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
