We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and appetising meals that meet their dietary needs. You will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and provide excellent service to enhance the dining experience for our residents.
Duties
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary requirements.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards during food handling and preparation.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas to ensure a safe environment.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create a welcoming atmosphere for residents during meal times.
Provide support during special events or catering services as required.
Engage with residents to understand their preferences and dietary restrictions, ensuring their needs are met.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or catering environment is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is preferred.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential qualities for this role.
Experience in bartending is a plus but not mandatory.
