Are you a seasoned project leader ready to drive transformational change? CFA Institute is seeking a Director, PMO to deliver high-impact strategic initiatives rooted in our 2030 strategic plan. As part of our Enterprise PMO (ePMO), you will not only lead major projects that influence our global trajectory but also help evolve the PMO function itself.

What You'll DoDeliver Strategic Initiatives: Lead the successful execution of one or more high-profile projects aligned with CFA Institute's 2030 strategy. Advance PMO Excellence: Support the Head of PMO in enhancing our function's maturity, capabilities, and delivery frameworks. Ensure Quality and Timeliness: Manage budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations to deliver projects on time and within scope. Foster Stakeholder Relationships: Use your influence to guide cross-functional collaboration, even without direct authority. Champion Agile Practices: Promote a pragmatic and adaptable approach to project delivery across diverse teams and business needs. Design Operating Models: Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the ePMO Target Operating Model to support global execution. Support a Global Perspective: Operate in a global context with occasional international travel (up to 10%) to collaborate across regions.


What You'll Bring
Minimum Qualifications10-15 years of progressive project management experience, with demonstrated success in enterprise-level initiatives. Bachelor's degree required. Strong background in financial services is essential. Exceptional ability to influence and lead without direct authority. Proven expertise in change management and stakeholder engagement. Deep understanding of project governance, methodologies (agile and traditional), and financial planning. Clear communicator with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams.

Preferred QualificationsExperience developing or scaling PMO capabilities. Previous involvement in strategic transformation initiatives. A global mindset with experience navigating multi-regional teams and challenges. Strong interpersonal and mentoring capabilities; able to guide others while fostering a collaborative culture.

Expected salary Range: 90,000 - 105,000 GBP

Other benefits include eligibility for annual incentives, 12% pension employer contribution, and competitive medical benefits.All salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience, education, and other factors relevant to the position.
