The UK tax team is highly regarded for its depth and breadth across corporate tax, finance tax, real estate tax, funds tax, indirect tax, and tax litigation. The global platform includes over 150 tax specialists worldwide, with a strong presence in the UK, US, Europe, and APAC. In London alone, the team comprises 7 partners, 3 Directors, and 12 associates.
Your Role
As Director - Funds Tax, you will:
Deliver strategic tax advice across a broad spectrum of fund-related transactions including fund raisings, carry structures, co-investments, continuation vehicles, GP M&A, and secondaries.
Collaborate closely with the firm's tax, funds, and corporate teams across multiple jurisdictions.
Advise clients on complex, high-value transactions that are often featured in financial and legal publications.
Develop and maintain key client relationships while supporting business development initiatives.
Your Profile
We're looking for a senior-level legal tax professional with:
Extensive experience in funds tax gained at a top-tier law firm or respected international practice.
A strong academic background and a proven track record of delivering pragmatic legal and tax solutions.
Outstanding communication, analytical, and commercial skills.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary and multi-jurisdictional teams.
A proactive approach to client engagement and business development.
