• Strategic responsibility: Mid-term special projects including relating to optimization of insurance coverage and other high-level projects requiring litigation expertise that are core to OGC\'s strategy and goals.
• Client responsibility: Works directly with Member Firms and counsel as initial OGC contact and acts as a trusted advisor.
• Breadth or depth of responsibility: While the person will have support and connection to Deputies and the GC, they will need to be able to provide timely advice and assistance requiring judgment and experience with similar organizations.

• This is a two-year fixed term role for a UK-trained attorney with relevant experience in litigation, insurance policies and coverage, and commercial and business matters.
• Familiarity with Deloitte Global, Deloitte MFs and Deloitte organizational structure as well as understanding of Nautilus captive insurance program is a key consideration
• Knowledge of regulatory regimes and requirements for non-US based firms.
• Location in UK is highly valuable because it will allow greater coverage of Claims matters across time zones and enable the close interaction with Nautilus, other Global business leaders, and MFs expected of this position.

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm.
