About this opportunity:



We're looking for a Director in our Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) Markets team, where you'll be part of a diverse and ambitious group of regulated sales professionals supporting over 3,000 small and medium-sized businesses. Based in Manchester, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering strategic solutions, helping Mid-Corporate clients navigate key stages of their business lifecycle.


This is an exciting opportunity to shape and grow our franchise in the North of England, working directly with clients to deliver complex multi-product risk management strategies. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive business development, facilitate transactions and embed our medium-term strategy for BCB Markets Sales.


This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing 'significant harm' to customers. Due to this, successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role. Colleagues performing this role will be required to be complete a fitness and propriety attestation on an annual basis and will also be subject to additional routine criminal and credit checks.


What you'll be doing:



Build and manage relationships with Mid-Corporate clients (T/O 25m+), offering strategic insights into currency, commodity and interest rate exposures. Collaborate with Credit, Coverage, Business Development and Delivery teams to secure and complete transactions efficiently. Develop and implement plans to grow existing client relationships and expand the portfolio through targeted business development. Ensure regulatory compliance and handle documentation for complex transactions, supporting deal forums and facility applications. Price, structure and deliver tailored FX, Interest Rate and Commodity risk management solutions. Champion the Connected digital treasury platform and support its go-to-market strategy for North West Mid-Corporate clients.

What you'll need:



CF30 Certified. Proof of qualification and satisfaction of CISI Regulations, Securities and Derivatives Extensive experience at Director level delivering complex risk management solutions across asset classes to mid-sized corporate clients. Strong understanding of transaction documentation, credit risk principles and financial market products. Proficiency in pricing tools that generate executable client prices aligned with risk and capital requirements. Ability to present original solutions and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels. Passion for financial markets and the ability to simplify complex concepts for C-Suite clients and advisors. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills, with a confirmed ability to manage priorities and collaborate optimally.
