We're looking for a Director

of Engineering, Data Activation

to join our

Product Development

team.

In this role, you will...

In partnership with the ProdDev leadership team and GTM teams, develop and maintain a vision and strategy for the Data Activation product and its integration into Supermetrics. Lead and drive engineering processes in order to bring effectiveness and efficiencies to development. Define and execute the long-term technical roadmap for the Relay42 integration, overseeing the development of new user interfaces, data transformation services, and data delivery systems. Drive critical architectural decisions, ensuring the platform is scalable, secure, and aligns with Supermetrics' broader cloud infrastructure strategy. Direct strategic planning for engineering resources and team structure to ensure alignment with the product roadmap and business objectives, particularly in a distributed/remote team environment. Act as a proponent for modern development approaches, such as Agentic AI, and create strategies to promote their adoption within the team.

Your day-to-day work and responsibilities include...

Hiring, developing, and retaining a highly-qualified team of software engineering professionals. Promoting a culture of innovation, transparency, and accountability within the team. Monitoring the progress of the product roadmap and making necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery. Working with customers to provide updates and resolve issues. Reviewing and approving key architectural decisions. Communicating the status of strategic projects to: Board, Exec Team, company on appropriate schedule. Promote and encourage automation throughout Product Development. Measure effectiveness by time to complete key operations and development tasks.

This position is for you if you have...

10+ years of relevant full-time experience, including managing a team of technical professionals. Effective leadership, business acumen, and the ability to effectively manage a multidisciplinary team. The ability to act in both an operational and strategic capacity to execute the Data Activation roadmap. Deep experience with Agile development methodologies and a proven track record of making decisions with an organization-wide impact. Extensive technical architecture experience across multi-cloud infrastructure. Experience in object-oriented design and development with Java. Knowledge of modern development approaches using Agentic AI and the ability to promote their adoption.
