Shape the future of one of the UK's largest NHS organisations as we seek a visionary Director of Estates and Facilities to lead the transformation of MFT's estates portfolio.
Reporting to our Chief Delivery Officer, this is a high-profile leadership role, responsible for driving the long-term estate strategy across acquisitions, divestments, and capital investment. You will be both a highly credible and inclusive leader with a natural ability to influence at scale, working closely with senior leaders in Clinical Groups, Estates, Finance, Strategy, and Commercial teams to deliver a masterplan that supports clinical excellence and future growth.
MFT is the largest provider of specialist services, and our Oxford Road Campus in Manchester is the largest health academic campus in Europe, with a workforce of over 30,000, and a turnover of 3.0 billion. We are by definition a big and complex organisation on a different scale to most other NHS trusts, and we are viewed as an organisation of national significance. As our Director of Estates and Facilities, you will be at the heart of MFT's strategic ambitions - ensuring our estate is fit for purpose, commercially sound, and aligned with our values, purpose, commitment to patients, and workforce.
Commercially astute and strategically driven, we are seeking a candidate to lead the long-term planning and optimisation of the MFT property portfolio and assets. This is a high-impact role at the heart of MFT's strategy, shaping the future of our estate across acquisitions, divestments, and capital investment.
The Director of Estates and Facilities will be pivotal to our future success as we work to improve the care and services for the people of Manchester, Trafford, and beyond. This is a fantastic role, at a truly crucial time for our organisation, as we play our part in delivery of the upcoming NHS 10-year plan.
