Shaping the Future of Paddlesport in the UK



Paddle UK is entering a bold new chapter. Were in the process of designing our new strategy, reshaping our operations, and exploring opportunities for greater commercial focus, all whilst staying true to our role as the National Governing Body for paddlesport. This is a time of transformation, and were looking for a talented and forward-thinking operator to help guide us through it.



We are seeking a Director of People & Culture who can see beyond the here-and-now. Someone who thrives on change, brings fresh perspectives, and can work with our leadership team to create an organisation ready for the future. You dont have to come from the sporting world; what matters most is your ability to lead at the highest level, inspire teams, and deliver impactful people strategies in complex, evolving environments.



In this pivotal role, you will:



As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, play a central part in shaping and delivering our people strategy, aligning it with our organisational vision. Partner with senior colleagues to navigate change, embed new ways of working, and build an engaged, high performing workforce. Champion a culture that is inclusive, ambitious, and ready to embrace the opportunities ahead. Influence across the whole organisation, from the boardroom to the riverbank.


We are looking for a confident and credible leader who can balance the needs of a dynamic not-for-profit organisation with the drive to explore and embrace more commercial opportunities. This is more than an HR role, its about helping to shape our future.

Salary Range: 75,000 - 85,000
