Job Description

We are seeking a high-impact Director of Product Marketing, International to lead our go-to-market strategy across EMEA and other international markets. This is a critical leadership role within the Global Product Marketing team that will focus on regional growth for our cloud financial management solutions, including Sage Intacct.




You will work closely with regional marketing, product, and sales teams to tailor messaging, enablement, and competitive strategy to local market dynamics while maintaining global brand alignment. You will also play a central role in supporting expansion efforts and strengthening Sage's leadership position outside North America.




Qualifications & Experience




- 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, with at least 4 years focused on international or EMEA markets.




- Proven success launching products and driving go-to-market execution in diverse regions (UK, France, Germany, etc.).




- Deep understanding of regional business practices, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.




- Strong storytelling, positioning, and messaging skills--able to translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling value.




- Experience supporting cloud-based financial or ERP software preferred.




- Comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives across time zones and cultures.




- Track record of building and managing high-performing teams.




- Fluent English required; additional European languages (e.g. French or German) are a strong plus.




- Willingness to travel (~20%) to support team and market activities.

- Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies across the UK, Europe, and other priority international markets.




- Localize global messaging, positioning, and value propositions to reflect cultural, regulatory, and buyer nuances.




- Serve as a key voice of the customer for international markets--bringing regional insights to influence product strategy and roadmap.




- Lead product launches across EMEA in partnership with product, sales, and regional marketing teams.




- Build and maintain in-depth competitive intelligence across regional markets; lead win/loss analysis and arm sales teams with tools to win.




- Partner with sales enablement to deliver training, playbooks, and assets tailored for local selling motions.




- Collaborate with demand generation and field marketing to support pipeline growth through targeted campaigns and content.




- Represent the international PMM function across the business and help shape global product marketing strategy.




- Lead and grow a small, distributed team of product marketers in Europe.
