Summary: The role will be an integral part of the team and will play a pivotal role in proactively managing and supporting their clients and funds from a commercial and governance perspective as well as representing Waystone at external events.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES





Client Relationship Management


Manage strategic relationships with global investment managers and institutional clients. Develop tailored engagement strategies to support client service and retention. Act as the escalation point for clients, fund boards, and service providers. Ensure Senior Waystone Management are aware of any client matters.

Leadership & Team Oversight


Lead and mentor relationship managers across jurisdictions, fostering collaboration and consistency. Ensure a unified relationship management model is applied globally and covering all products

Governance & Representation


Represent Waystone in board meetings, investor forums, and strategic client engagements. Maintain high-level interactions with senior executives at client firms and fund directors.

Operational Coordination


Coordinate client reporting requirements, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met. Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities across Waystone service offerings working with Sales and Key Account Managers as appropriate Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure seamless transition into BAU.

Travel & Global Engagement


Travel to maintain face-to-face engagement with clients and internal teams. Participate in industry events, regulatory roundtables, and client-hosted forums.

Regulatory & Risk Alignment


Supporting internal teams to ensure funds comply with AIFMD, UCITS, and jurisdictional regulations. Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to manage cross-border risks.

Technology & Data Enablement


Champion CRM and client analytics tools to enhance visibility and decision-making. Ensure Salesforce and Heat Maps are updated in a timely manner. Support digital transformation initiatives, including automated reporting and AI-driven servicing. Support the client portal ongoing management and development.



REQUIREMENTS





Motivated with enhanced inter personal skills and adept at building client relationships; Minimum 8 years' experience in an investment funds environment; Knowledge of AIFMD, UCITS or MiFID; Client facing background with presentation skills; Strong academic background including a Degree in Finance/Business/Economics or related field; * Strong IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
