The Director of Repertoire Products and Services reporting to the VP of Repertoire Products and Services and is part of a team driving the business engagement, delivery, architecture, engineering, and operational continuity of UMG's Repertoire Products and Services.
Finally, this role is global in scope, with teams in North and South America, Europe, and India and stakeholders around the world.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
The Director, Repertoire Products and Services is responsible for delivery of technology capabilities that enable UMG's global business.
Be TechnicalImplement the vision for key Repertoire products & services with a team of product managers, architects, and engineers who are collectively responsible for designing, building, and servicing repertoire the respective products and services. Establish and enforce best practices in agile software development Understand and verify the technical and operational feasibility of all changes Ensure that all software is developed to established quality and security standards

Be CollaborativeWork collaboratively with business teams, technology teams and 3rd party business partners; to plan and deliver process improvements and technology features that are aligned with strategic objectives. Cultivate and manage relationships with internal and 3rd party technology teams. Co-ordinate change management with internal and external clients in a complex upstream business domain.


Person Specification
NecessaryStrong experience of building API's leverage by external terms, preferably within the music industry Strong experience of services and / or microservices in an enterprise environment Strong experience of leading technology teams Strong technical understanding of modern API design and development to be leveraged by external teams Strong technical understanding of modern architectures, specifically for services and microservices Understanding of modern frontend technologies, frameworks and design systems Demonstrated commitment to customer service and high-quality service delivery Adaptability to shifting priorities Effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial Proactively manage expectations across multiple stakeholders and priorities Achieve results through influence over both external and internal organizations Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of interfacing effectively with executive management Program management, project management, and risk management of programs and projects Creative operational thinking with a strategic viewpoint Strong ethical values and integrity
