Summary
Senior product specialist, shaping, driving and embedding the medium term strategy for Loan Financing. Providing leadership, direction and support to a team of product specialists ensuring the overall Loan Financing plan is delivered and income generated ensuring customer needs are met.

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least three days per week, or 60% of our time at an office hub mentioned above.

We're offering an exciting opportunity for an experiences Director to join our Strategic Debt Finance - Large (SDF Large) team.
This leadership role plays a crucial role in shaping and advancing the SDF strategy, with a particular focus on driving deal origination and execution of structured debt for private equity owned businesses in all end market segments.
You'll use a proven network of senior level relationships across corporates and financial sponsors to originate high-quality opportunities and deliver strategic outcomes for our clients. This is an ideal role for a seasoned leverage finance specialist.

Skills we're looking forLeading and driving the origination and execution of loan and bond products for private equity clients Maintain business with new and existing clients Lead deal teams to prepare and delivery of client presentations Develop detailed understanding of client requirements to identify and pitch client solutions Review and negotiate legal documentation Lead preparation of marketing materials and due diligence process for transactions Maintain and build relationships with senior internal stakeholders Always to undertake the duties of this role in accordance with the requirements of the company's Regulators, including FCA's Principles for Business

DesirableNetwork of large cap private equity contacts Track record of origination and deal flow generation with a creative approach to identifying innovative client solutions Track record of establishing relationships with clients and advisors in order to originate new business Track record of underwriting and bridging transactions in the large cap leverage finance market Track record of executing of loan and HY products with strong technical experience including structuring, accounting and modelling Strong communication and interpersonal skills Team player, track record of leading deal teams and developing junior talent Ability to deliver against financial targets Strong knowledge of the regulatory and compliance requirements

This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing 'significant harm' to customers. Due to this, successful candidate will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role. Colleagues performing this role will be required to be complete a fitness and propriety attestation on an annual basis and will also be subject to additional routine criminal and credit checks

This role has been identified as a Client-dealing function under SYSC 27.8.18R as defined in the FCA Handbook



The Person ("P") performs the client-dealing FCA certification function for a firm if:(1) P is carrying out any of the activities in the table in SYSC 27.8.19R; and(2) those activities will involve P dealing with:(a) a person with or for whom those activities are carried out; or(b) the property of any such person;in a manner substantially connected with the carrying on of regulated activities by the firm.



If you manage certified colleagues this role will be identified as Manager of certification employees under SYSC 27.8.13R as defined in the FCA Handbook(1) The function of managing or supervising a certification employee, directly or indirectly, is an FCA-specified significant-harm function.(2) A function in (1) is not an FCA certification function for that firm if it is performed by an SMF manager of that firm.
