We're seeking a talented individual to join our VAT team in London.We provide a wide range of tax and consulting services to a broad range of companies.
In your role, you will provide VAT advisory services to clients focusing in real estate and financial services in the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Taking full ownership of project execution across your client portfolio ensuring timely an high quality delivery
Overseeing and reviewing the output of Junior team members, providing guidance where necessary
Act as a key point of contact with HMRC, managing correspondence and enquiries effectively
Ensuring all work is completed within scope and budget, proactively communicating with clients and Partners about potential scope changes or overruns
Using sound judgement to flag complex technical matters or risks to Partners, while also identifying areas where additional support or services may be offered
Support the leadership team across broader client engagements and help drive team development
Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders
Qualifications
What we're looking for
ACA/ CTA qualified (or equivalent)
A strong track record in UK VAT with significant hands on experience
Deep understanding of current VAT developments, particularly within financial services would be desirable
Confidence in reviewing VAT compliance work and delivering strategic advice while coaching junior team members to grow their technical skills
A commercial mindset
Comfortable engaging with senior level clients and collaborating closely with cross functional tax teams
