About Our Client: Medical Support Services is a trusted partner of the Department for Communities and a leading provider of health assessment services. We are actively seeking qualified Nurses (RGN, RMN or RNLD), as well as Physiotherapists, Paramedics and Occupational Therapists to join their clinical team as Disability Assessors in various clinics across Belfast. In this vital role, you will utilise your clinical expertise to conduct medical assessments and prepare reports for ESA/UC Benefit (Employment and Support Allowance/Universal Credit) applicants.

What We Offer:

  • Starting salary of \xc2\xa335,000, rising to \xc2\xa337,000 after a 6-month probation period
  • Additional earning potential of up to \xc2\xa32,500 per year through further training and responsibility
  • Monday to Friday working hours, with weekends, nights, and bank holidays off
  • A supportive multi-disciplinary team environment with comprehensive training provided
Your Key Responsibilities: As a Disability Assessor, you will carry out assessments and reports for individuals with various health conditions. Your clinical skills and compassionate approach will play a crucial role in determining their eligibility for ESA/UC benefits.

Key Requirements:
  • Full registration as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist
  • At least one year of post-qualification adult medical experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and IT skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
