Job Title: Young Person Support Worker/Driver

Location: - Bourteehill/Irvine

Rate of Pay: 13.73 per Hour plus 5.6 weeks paid AL pro rata.

Hours: - Part time flexible hours to be agreed with employer. 8 hours per week.

The position would suit someone energetic and outgoing who is able to work daytime, evening and weekend hours. Employer is flexible and can work around other commitments.

The post is to support a young lady of 18 who needs support to participate fully in life. She is a friendly young person with good sense of humour. She likes to plan before going into new situations and assisting with this will be part of your role. She enjoys, going to the cinema, ballet, concerts, shopping in Glasgow or Irvine, bowling and going out in general to visit places. She is leaving school so you will be helping her transition into adulthood.

Hours to be discussed at interview. Approximately 6 hours per week, the hours would be to support with getting out to do activities and develop life skills. Also, reassurance and emotional support is important.

Experience of supporting people to access the community is desirable. Post is In Bourteehill, Irvine.

Applicants must have a positive, flexible and friendly personality.

A clean driving licence and access to a reliable car with up-to-date business insurance for your vehicle is essential.

The hourly rate of pay will be 13.15 before deductions.

There is a 6-month trial period attached to this post
