Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join the team who support a 16 year old boy with a Traumatic Brain Injury. He uses an electric wheelchair for mobility and a speech device to communicate. He lives a full and vibrant life and is supported by his family and care team who are all super friendly and work with the same goal - to make his life as independent and extraordinary as possible.
He is home schooled 4 days a week and attends sixth form college on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
SEN TA for home school Support in weekly sessions with visiting therapists (Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Music Therapy) Promoting and maximising opportunities for independence Supporting physical wellbeing - physio and swimming (on-site pool) Personal care
Key details:
13.85-17 per hour Full time or part time contract available Driver essential UK/International travel on family holidays Previous TA/support/care work required Full training and period of shadow shifts provided Must be comfortable around animals as client has 3 dogs, a cat and chickens and loves his pets.
