Tasks
The key responsibilities and duties of the
Disassembly Technician
include, but are not limited to:
Disassemble customer landing gears I.A.W the manufacturer instructions (CMM)
Avoid additional damage and work with team to communicate required improvements to tooling and processes
Work to tight deadlines
Control of personal and company tools
Awareness and understanding of LTLGS computer based MOE (IQMove)
Report to Leading Hand / Team Leader if damage occurs so that improvements can be investigated
Embrace an open reporting culture
Participate and contribute to team dialog meetings
Carry out missing and damaged inspections
In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined above, you will be expected to carry out any other reasonable activities as required by your line manager

Requirements
The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:
GCSE A-C or equivalent
Engineering qualification desirable
Apprenticeship in mechanical assembly/disassembly advantageous
Experience using hand tools
Good understanding of PPE
Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts preferred
Aerospace industry background beneficial but not essential
Personal Qualities

Honest and trustworthy
Quick learner
Safety- and quality-minded
Good manual skills
Working Conditions
Flexibility with working hours, including occasional weekend overtime
Work involving contact with oils and greases
Training and operation of overhead cranes
