We're looking for a
Dispatcher Coordinator
to join our team - someone who is calm under pressure, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has excellent communication skills to keep everything running smoothly.
The Role
As a Taxi Dispatcher, you'll be at the beating heart of our operations - making sure drivers and subcontractors are in the right place at the right time whilst ensuring that customers receive a service that is second to none.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and process booking requests via phone, email, and app.
Schedule and dispatch drivers to pick-ups on time.
Monitor trips and provide drivers with updates (e.g. traffic delays, last-minute changes and amendments).
Resolve issues quickly and effectively to minimise disruption.
Keep accurate records of bookings, client details, and driver assignments.
Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and colleagues.
Use iCabbi dispatch software to allocate vehicles efficiently and optimise routes.
Support fleet performance by focusing on efficiency, safety, and customer service.
About You
Experience in dispatching, logistics, or transport (preferred but not essential).
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication ability - both verbal and written.
Able to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
Comfortable using technology, GPS navigation, and dispatch systems.
Calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure.
