Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dispatch Manager to oversee our dispatch operations and be responsible for fulfilling orders and ensuring standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management systems and supply chain processes. This role requires excellent communication and analysis skills to ensure efficient dispatching and delivery of goods.

Duties

Pickwave generation; Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products; Allocate tasks to staff and assign job roles; Monitor staff progress and performance; Liaise with managers and HR regarding team members; Be the first point of contact for staff; Motivate the team to work to the highest standard; Coordinate with 3PL providers to streamline logistics processes. Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring compliance with company policies. Analyse logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Maintain effective communication with team members, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations. Implement best practices in dispatching and provide training for staff as needed. Conduct daily team meetings; Forward plan for "down time"

Skills

Strong understanding of supply chain principles and logistics operations. Excellent analysis skills for interpreting data and making informed decisions. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also managing individual responsibilities.
