Warehouse Dispatch Manager
to help us deliver first-class service to our customers every day.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll lead the
dispatch and packing teams
to ensure all orders are processed efficiently, accurately, and on time. You'll be responsible for maintaining high operational standards, improving processes, and driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
This is a
fast-paced, hands-on role
-- perfect for someone who thrives on the shop floor, leads from the front, and knows what "good" looks like in an eCommerce warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all daily dispatch operations to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on schedule.
Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse and dispatch staff to meet performance and quality targets.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, housekeeping, and health & safety.
Work closely with goods-in, customer service, and logistics to solve order or stock issues quickly.
Analyse dispatch performance data and identify ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage courier collections, service issues, and delivery performance.
Lead by example -- visible, hands-on, and proactive in solving problems on the floor.
Support the implementation of new systems, layouts, and processes as the business continues to scale.
About You
We're looking for someone who takes ownership, has pride in their team's output, and wants to make an impact.
Essential:
Proven experience managing dispatch or warehouse operations (preferably eCommerce).
Strong leadership and communication skills -- able to motivate teams and manage performance.
Organised, analytical, and able to balance speed with accuracy.
Comfortable with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic data analysis.
Able to work under pressure and prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment.
Desirable:
Experience with Linnworks, Magento, or similar systems.
Understanding of courier integrations and dispatch technology.
Forklift licence (or willingness to train).
