Job Summary:

We are looking for a Dispatch Operative to join our team. As a Dispatch Operative, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your role will involve managing outbound goods, operating forklifts, maintaining stock records, and ensuring orders are dispatched on time to meet customer expectations.

An element of overtime has been included in the salary; due to the nature of the role this will be required at times

Responsibilities:

Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch Ensure all goods are correctly labelled and documented for shipping Operate forklifts to load and unload vehicles safely Build pallets or crates for shipping purposes Book dispatches onto our MRP system and complete all relevant paperwork Work with couriers, hauliers, and transport companies to arrange collections and deliveries Maintain accurate stock records including frequent stock checks Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow between production and dispatch Keep despatch and storage areas tidy and well-organised

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or logistics role preferred Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate forklifts safely Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic
