Job Description
Nettlebed Surgery is seeking a
temporary, part-time Dispensary Assistant
to join our friendly team to provide cover during a period of maternity leave.Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as part of our dispensary team to ensure the safe, efficient and accurate preparation, dispensing, and supply of prescribed medications to our patients.
Duties include:
Dispensing medications in accordance with prescriptions and practice protocols Managing stock control and ordering supplies Providing excellent customer and patient service Maintaining accurate records and adhering to confidentiality standards Supporting the wider clinical team as required
About You
We are looking for an experienced dispenser who:
Has experience working in a
dispensary setting
(GP surgery or pharmacy) Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy Has good organisational and communication skills Works well as part of a small, dedicated teamA
Pharmacy Technician certificate
isdesirable but not essential
.Contract and Hours
This is a
temporary, part-time position
to cover maternity leave.Hours and start date can be discussed at interview.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 12.21-17.51 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
