We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispenser / Trainee Dispenser to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and medication administration, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the pharmacy environment. Duties

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Assist in the preparation and packaging of medication for patients. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medications and health advice. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management. Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of medication administration and pharmacy practices. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy workspace.

Qualifications

Previous experience in medication administration or patient care is preferred but not essential. A background as a pharmacy technician is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the field.
