Job Description
To carry out dispensing and checking duties under the authorisation of a qualified pharmacist and to supervise the work of other members of staff (where applicable).
Qualifications:
NVQ3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
Accredited Checking Technician.
Registered with Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain or General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Main Tasks
To provide a courteous, confidential and professional service to all pharmacy customers.
To ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner.
To check prescriptions previously clinically assessed by a pharmacist and when not involved in the dispensing process itself.
To maintain a high standard of appearance of the pharmacy.
To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.
To carry out dispensary administrative tasks, where applicable.
To supervise the work of others and delegate tasks and roles, as applicable.
To adhere to Company Standard Operating Procedures and policies, Health and Safety regulations and legal and ethical requirements affecting pharmacy.
Actively provide healthy living advice at every opportunity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 26,910.00 per year
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Night shift Weekend availability
