Job description:

Andrews Pharmacy is looking to recruit a Registered Dispensing Technician NVQ3 to manage our dispensary team in Macclesfield.

This is a vital role, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring we provide an excellent service to our patients and maintain regulatory compliance.

The responsible pharmacist will provide support and guidance and would be your line manager.

The post holder would, if not already trained, be required to complete Accuracy Checking training.

This is a full time position working 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am-12:30pm every other Saturday. Total contracted hours are 39.25 per week

Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy to ensure compassionate patient care

- Provide effective leadership, support and guidance to a team of pharmacy staff

- Inspire team to perform and help to maintain a positive work environment

- Ensure that the team receive the training and development they require

- Fulfil the daily activities of dispensing prescriptions, stock ordering, checking off orders and putting away

- Provide health advice and sell medicines

- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

- Resolve patient complaints

- Check both NHS and private prescriptions upon completion of ACT course

- Deliver training, conduct performance reviews and foster a supportive and collaborative environment

- Manage stock control and inventory

- Collaborate with the office manager to ensure rotas are managed including covering sickness and holidays and ensure all employee HR records are accurate

- Collaborate with Directors/Pharmacist to evaluate processes and implement changes for efficiency

- Act as a keyholder responsible for pharmacy lock-up and opening

Essential skills and experience:

- MUST BE ALREADY TRAINED AND REGISTERED WITH GPhC AS A DISPENSING TECHNICIAN

- Effective communication skills

- Good customer service skills

- Accurate with an attention to detail

- Excellent organisational skills

- Ability to multitask and work under pressure

- Understands the importance of delegating and teamwork

- Willing to qualify as an ACT

- A full UK driving licence is desirable to help cover our other branches

Pay:?31,000-33,000 depending on experience

Bonuses available depending on performance
