We're looking for a passionate and approachable Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join our team in Kendal. Whether you're helping individuals or businesses, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services with empathy, professionalism, and commercial awareness.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing a diverse caseload of dispute resolution matters for both private and commercial clients Applying your knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant Court/Tribunal processes Demonstrating commercial awareness through accurate time recording, timely billing, and proactive credit control Ensuring all files are managed in line with Lexcel and statutory compliance standards Responding promptly and positively to new client enquiries Building strong, lasting relationships through excellent client care Contributing to the growth of the department and helping attract new clients

What We're Looking For

Experience across a range of dispute resolution areas such as land, boundary and neighbour disputes, contentious probate, commercial property, landlord and tenant (residential and commercial), and employment Some exposure to non-contentious work (e.g. drafting employment contracts or terms of business) A willingness to expand your expertise into new areas of dispute resolution A collaborative, friendly approach and a genuine desire to make a positive impact through your legal work Flexibility to travel to other offices when needed
