About the role
The postholder will support the legal disrepair process and specialised team to coordinate and manage works associated with disrepair. This will include a range of activities, such as arranging repairs, helping to resolve issues around no access, keeping accurate records and producing weekly reports detailing appointments arranged.
The postholder will provide excellent customer service to customers who are in the disrepair process, ensuring properties are maintained or returned to the standard and quality required by GreenSquareAccord policies.
You will be part of a cohesive and supportive team reporting to the Surveying Manager to address the required improvement in managing legal disrepair cases on behalf of GreenSquareAccord.
You will be our main contact point for all disrepair related queries in Localities 3 & 4 and will work closely with the Clerk of Works, Delivery Managers, Housing Colleagues as well as internal and external legal teams to provide a consistent and excellent level of customer service to all GreenSquareAccord customers.

About you
The postholder must have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and sensitively, in person, via the telephone and in writing
High standard of IT skills
Good standard of education - GCSE level
Knowledge of disrepair legislation and working within the disrepair protocol.
Experience of Coordinating the swift completion of any recommendations and actions arising from disrepair inspections, ensuring records and audit trails are maintained/updated to evidence achievement and compliance to legislation
Experience of implementing and maintaining accurate records and undertaking performance monitoring, ideally in relation to disrepair cases.
Experience of dealing with and resolving complex and potentially contentious problems and issues.
Experience of working effectively as a part of a team and delivering service targets, outputs and outcomes.
