Job Summary


We are looking for a proactive and detail?driven

DISTRIBUTION ADMINISTRATOR

to join our transformed distribution/warehouse operations team in Dalkeith. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast?paced environment, enjoys problem?solving, and has hands?on experience with Epicor or a comparable ERP/WMS (Enterprise Resource Planning/Warehouse Management System). You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, accurate data management, and efficient coordination across our distribution network.

Responsibilities



Maintain accurate order, inventory, and shipment data within Epicor or similar ERP platforms. Process sales orders, purchase orders, and distribution documentation. Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery. Monitor stock levels and support inventory control activities. Generate reports and analyse data to support operational decision?making. Resolve discrepancies in orders, shipments, and system records. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution function.

Skills

& Experience



Essential

Strong working knowledge of Epicor ERP or similar systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage, etc.). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Confident communicator with the ability to work cross?functionally. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A problem?solving mindset and willingness to learn new processes. Operate effectively as part of a team, and able to work on own initiative. Flexible attitude and approach.
Desirable

Previous experience in a distribution, logistics, or supply chain administration role.

Based in the Dalkeith Warehouse Office at Thornybank, EH22 2NE Salary will be dependent on experience, within the range 12.21 to 12.90 per hour
