Distribution Centre - Warehouse Operative (Dundee)

Our Distribution Centre in Dundee is a fast-paced operation and we currently have a number of opportunities available in different functions in the warehouse. These include:

Order picking Order packing for small packages & parcels Receiving & booking on product deliveries from suppliers Replenishing the pick zones & organising stock
These roles are available across different shift patterns which include dayshift, back shift, part-time & flexible working options. The site currently operates as a 6 day operation.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic applicants who are keen to join the business at entry level and then progress quickly within the Distribution Centre Team as the business continues to develop. Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential. A structured training programme is in place for you to acquire the skills you need to progress in your career in Warehousing and Distribution.

Warehouse Progression Training Plan

Initial 12-week training programme. On successful completion of your training, you will become a trained warehouse operative and move onto a higher salary band. You will then have the opportunity to develop your career into senior warehouse positions and ultimately, team leader roles.

Minimum Attributes/ Qualifications:

Ability to follow a process accurately and achieve performance targets Reliable and dependable. Communicates openly - able to communicate effectively within the team and effective in giving and receiving/acting upon feedback. Drive for Results - ability and willingness to learn warehousing skills. Ability to identify errors or issues within a trained process. Execute given tasks including operating equipment in a consistent, safe and efficient manner, according to our established standards and Work Instruction. Be a team player who works collaboratively, is flexible and shares & supports those around them Self-starting, focused on developing personal and technical skills by completing training plans Comfortable using basic handheld & screen based warehouse system devices The ability to lift up to 15.5kg in weight throughout your work shift if required
