About the Role
As
Distribution Manager
, you'll manage how The Big Bakes sells across platforms, ensuring our sessions are available in the right places, at the right times, with no clashes. This is not a junior or entry-level role, we're seeking someone with
proven distribution experience
to hit the ground running.
You'll handle:
Public, corporate, tourism and gift voucher ticketing platform and uploads, for the whole company
Acquiring, onboarding and managing new distributors (from OTAs and room booking sites to event companies and filming space vendors)
Optimising session availability, especially during growth periods (e.g. new city launches, seasonal tourism pushes)
This role will be essential to getting our products in front of the right audiences.
Finding new distributors and building relationships with entities such as office block management and OTA platforms.
What You'll Do
Channel & Inventory Management
Upload events, sessions, and pricing across all Big Bakes distribution channels. I.e. DesignMyNight, OTAs, voucher platforms
Ensure accurate availability across all sales points and considered pricing
Monitor session uptake, troubleshoot platform issues, and manage upgrades
Actively seek, meet with and set up new partnerships with distributors
Platform Growth & Onboarding
Research and onboard new partners in tourism, corporate, travel, and gifting sectors
Lead communication and integration with platforms like Airbnb, DesignMyNight, and beyond
Reach out to property/office managers and event networks to expand reach
Target-driven, focusing on platform setup and sales volume
Internal & Operational Coordination
Prevent booking conflicts
Work closely with marketing, corporate sales, and finance
Own backend ticketing systems, widgets, and product accuracy
Data & Targets
Report performance per platform/channel weekly and monthly
Hit platform onboarding targets
Recommend pricing, promotion or distribution changes based on data
Who You Are
A
distribution and partnerships pro
-- this role is not for on-the-job learning. You will have you've managed listings on OTAs, gift platforms, or group sales channels
Experience with ticketing, tourism, travel, or experience products preferred
Highly organised and detail-oriented
Strategic thinker and strong communicator
Self-starter- confident owning projects end-to-end
Comfortable juggling multiple channels and systems
Strong communicator -you'll collaborate with teams across the company
Analytical, with the ability to spot trends and solve problems
