Duties

Install tiles in various settings, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring a high standard of workmanship. Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, levelling, and applying necessary materials. Measure and cut tiles accurately to fit designated areas, using hand tools and power tools effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Assist in other construction-related tasks as required, including masonry work, carpentry, and painting. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.

Requirements

Proven experience in tiling or a related field is essential. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction is required. Skills in electrical work, fabrication, carpentry, painting, masonry, building, roofing, and plumbing are highly desirable. Ability to read and understand schematics is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good physical fitness is necessary due to the nature of the work involved.
