The role requires you to support the Director to meet business and strategic goals whilst managing a diverse team of interns/volunteers. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Raise the profile and voice of H.U.M.A.N. (Help Unify Mankind And Nations) \xc2\xb7 Support the Director with general administration tasks, proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies. \xc2\xb7 Monitor our email accounts and answer queries on behalf of the Director. \xc2\xb7 Manage team of interns/volunteers, including advertising, hiring, inducting and training when necessary, and maintain motivation. \xc2\xb7 Participate in Developing and writing funding proposals from different funding streams to secure funds for H.U.M.A.N. projects. \xc2\xb7 Support the business with the design of projects. This may include consultation with partners, designing activities, budgeting, creating timelines for delivery and monitoring & evaluation planning. \xc2\xb7 Researching and advising on diversity and inclusion issues and creating/contributing to the delivery of programmes, and all associated tasks. \xc2\xb7 Coordinating activities with partners, reviewing financial and narrative reports, grant management and keeping up-to-date records of project activities. \xc2\xb7 Ability to multitask and prioritise business needs \xc2\xb7 Effective written and communication skills \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion in the workplace, education and for marginalised groups, specifically pertaining to the Equality Act 2010 \xe2\x80\x93 9 Protected Characteristics. \xc2\xb7 Ability to accurately and comprehensive record/ note down information, follow the requirements needed, while using own initiative to achieve business outcomes from this data. \xc2\xb7 To write training programmes, support delivery of workshops, and independently deliver training when required to do so. Essential requirements \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent lived experience in Diversity & Inclusion \xc2\xb7 Ability to support dyslexic needs and other intersectionality\xe2\x80\x99s \xc2\xb7 Experience of training or teaching \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of self-employment/ finance \xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills \xc2\xb7 Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. \xc2\xb7 Excellent time management and organisational skills \xc2\xb7 Experience in researching and writing funding applications. Other duties \xc2\xb7 Ability to work under own initiative to prioritise and manage a varied workload and competing priorities; attention to detail. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting discriminated and disadvantaged groups. \xc2\xb7 Devising/maintaining office systems, including data management and filing. \xc2\xb7 Arranging travel, visas and accommodation, and occasionally travelling with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations. \xc2\xb7 Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate. \xc2\xb7 Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments. \xc2\xb7 Dealing with incoming emails, faxes and posts, often corresponding on behalf of the Director. \xc2\xb7 Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations. \xc2\xb7 Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the Director is well prepared for meetings. \xc2\xb7 Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff. \xc2\xb7 Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload \xc2\xb7 Primary role is to support the Director \xc2\xb7 To complete additional duties commensurate with the role, responsibilities and pay scale.
