We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Fife Assessor Service as a Divisional Assessor. The role will be pivotal in driving professional training in the service as well as the Assessor Information Notices/Civil Penalties process.
The job role:
To be responsible for the efficient work allocation, co-ordination and training of technical staff undertaking property surveys and valuations throughout Fife for the purposes of compiling and maintaining the Valuation Roll and Council Tax Valuation List. Taking a lead role in the service for the survey and valuation of properties of a more specialist nature.

While the significant part of the role can and will be carried out remotely, candidates should be able to travel to and attend office locations in Fife as required.

The Person
If you meet the essential qualification criteria outlined below, we would like to hear from you.
Educated to SCQF Level 9 which includes a Degree or equivalent.
Qualified to full professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS/FRICS).
Practical working knowledge of the legislation and case law governing Council tax and Non-Domestic Rating.
Ability to travel to various locations throughout Fife.
