Reporting to the Divisional Head of Finance, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape financial processes and support strategic decision making, as an active business partner working closely with a forward-thinking leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in month end processes in conjunction with the Financial Accountant and preparation of Accounts Packs for monthly Board and Management meetings.
Overseeing risk and audit requirements across the business.
Assisting the business in producing annual budgets and weekly profitability and cashflow forecasts.
Reviewing monthly financial performance with senior business leaders
Owning the integration process between proposed new DMS and financial accounts system and assist with implementation of improved and real time financial reporting methods to support business decision making.
Responsibility for an Assistant Management Accountant.
Work with wider management team to help fulfil business aims of increased profitability and ensuring control of working capital.
Be part of site level management teams, providing data and business information as requested to assist with local and divisional business decision.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
ACA, ACCA or equivalent or Qualified by Experience
Experience working with large quantities of data
Strong knowledge and understanding of Performance Measures and Costing methods
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in people management including remote workers
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
The following experience would also be a distinct advantage:
Experience in using an Accounting System separate to the DMS
Experience in implementing new IT and/or accounting systems is preferable
Experience in PowerBI or similar reporting tools is preferable
