This is a part-time role working 24 hours per week, working within our southern Scheduling team based out of the Corfe Mullen office.

What you'll do

------------------



You will be responsible for providing scheduling for Wessex Water operational teams across multiple workstreams.



When scheduling, key responsibilities will include maximising the efficient use of operational staff's time by creating schedules which will reduce mileage and fuel expenditure.



You will be liaising with Wessex Water operational staff across multiple disciplines to help reduce overdue work. You will be required to raise work requests to be carried out and prioritised, as well as scheduling planned maintenance.



In addition, you may also be required to provide regular updates to our customers, ensuring our performance commitments are met.


The role will require the candidate to engage with multiple IT systems, including Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Dynamics 365 and Teams) as well as internal software.



This role is 24 hours per week, between Tuesday and Thursday, but due to the reactive nature of the work, some flexibility with working hours may be required.



Our core hour scheduling team operate between the hours of 7am and 5pm; however, we also provide out-of-hours cover and therefore overtime opportunities may be available.

We operate within strict Service Level Agreements, so the ability to follow procedures and attention to detail underpins everything we do.


An understanding of Wessex Water's operational business would be an advantage, but if you have the aptitude and approach to effectively solve problems under pressure, we will ensure you have all the training you need to adapt your skills to the role.
