Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The position requires a high level of autonomy, liaising with different internal functions, to enable sound decision making relative to the production plan, maintaining customer service levels and long-range planning forecast.

Duties



Conversion of Customer orders to Production orders in a timely and efficient manner for Customer Service Effectively plan production items whilst utilizing plant assets and resource to deliver a lean working production plan inclusive of a PM schedule, and training which consistently achieves >95% schedule adherence. Liaise with site Buyer to ensure all materials required are available prior to confirming schedule Liaise with Customer Service team accountable for supporting producing short- and long-range production plans. Work with Technical team to facilitate trials and protocols. Manage WIP to ensure all jobs created by planners (paper production/printing/slitting) and allocate them to the suitable resources or instances. Respecting job's due date (OTIF=100%), including batch release or maturity period. Checking resources and components availability Maximizing production efficiency (number of setups, etc.) Communicate production schedule to the production team. Participate in a daily meeting involving production, quality control, customer service, logistics and human resources. Create jobs in WIP for samples and trials. Integrate them in the production schedule. Update calendar of machine availability in WIP over firm horizon. Analyze and control production adherence (planned vs produced) for D-1 every day. Alert planning, customer service and logistics if a job was delayed and a customer order is impacted. Follow-up inventories of components when a new job created. Respect maximum inventory target defined by Supply Chai Additional duties as assigned.

Education/Certifications:



2 Year Associates Degree in business, operations or a related field with 3-5 years' experience working in planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills:



Sound knowledge of organisational and management practices as applied to the analysis and evaluation of operational needs. Detailed oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task. Strong project management skills and deadline driven. Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Office and strong understanding of ERP systems
