The role



With a new state of art infrastructure and recent investment in VBS and technology we are looking for the right individual to support our Operations team in London Gateway. As a Shunter Driver you will be responsible for shunting containers in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities



Transport / Shunt containers within the port area in a safe and efficient manner. Drive Terberg Yard Tug to a high standard. Perform pre use inspection of yard tug and trailer to ensure safe operation. Follow safe operating procedures at all times. Provide excellent customer service. Maintain regular contact with the Shunt Planning team.

About you



Holder of full UK driving licence Deep understanding of the importance of health and safety and be committed to always upholding a safe approach to all tasks. Flexibility with working hours Mature approach to health and safety Passion for delivering customer service to the highest standard

It's great, but not required, if you:



Have LGV / HGV driving experience Have previous shunting experience.
Please be advised that successful appointments are subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
