Role Description: Document Release Co-ordinator
Location: Dundee (hybrid)
Salary: 25,000 - 28,000 DOE
Grade:8
We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive individual to join the Document Release Control team within our Shared Services group based at NCR Atleos, Discovery Centre R&D site in Dundee. This is a great opportunity to join a small, dedicated team with responsibility for documentation and control of all NCR Atleos engineering development releases.
Key areas of responsibility:
Under the guidance of the Lead DR Co-ordinator but with significant autonomy; the DR Co-Ordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining all engineering-related documentation for R&D projects. This role ensures that documents are properly controlled, traceable, and compliant with company and regulatory standards. It involves working closely with engineers, project teams, and external stakeholders to maintain accurate records and facilitate smooth document workflows.
Support the Engineering global teams with processing of documentation related to development releases
Verify documents for accuracy and compliance with project standards
Track document status and expedite reviews and approvals
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents
Ensure adherence to ISO standards and company document control procedures
Provide support and guidance to both internal users and external contract manufacturing users of the NCR Atleos document database.
Update training material and provide training for new and existing users
Work directly with external customers and internal team members on process continuous improvements including documentation of lessons learned
Required skills and experience:
Experience in document control or business admin, preferably within an engineering environment
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Excellent communication skills, technical a plus
Strong organisational acumen
Have a sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task
Enthusiastic and self-motivated with ability to take initiative and work independently
Detail oriented
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desired skills and experience:
3 years of experience in document control, preferably within an engineering environment
Strong understanding of engineering documentation (drawings, technical specs, change orders)
Proficiency in Document Management Systems and MS Office Suite
Experience with creating and managing release schedules, monitoring progress, monitoring and tracking completion of release deliverables
Recognising and assisting in the resolution of conflicts and contentions within a release
Ability to manage large volumes of documents under tight deadlines
