Our central document production team have an exciting opportunity for a
Document Specialist
to join them at our Bristol office on a permanent basis. This role is to provide consistent, high-quality, professional document support to legal teams and business services departments.
You will be joining a small team of professionals who work collaboratively with each other and all departments across the business.
Key responsibilities:
Document production (creating, formatting and amending) across all the Firm's systems and Microsoft Office packages.
House-style large and complex legal documents and reports in MS Word, identifying and correcting style and cross-referencing issues.
Confident in repairing document issues and helping users with technical queries
Producing PowerPoint presentations using the firm's branded templates.
Assist in the creation of pitch documents, team sheets and organograms using the Firm's branded templates
Work closely with the Design Team to ensure documents produced are on brand.
Work with PDF software to combine, manipulate, convert and amend PDF documents
Keeping stakeholders up to datewith progress of tasks and managing expectations
You must be reliable and organised with an ability to trouble-shoot and work under pressure at times with a 'can do' outlook. This is a busy role which demands close attention to detail and an ability to prioritise tasks and manage expectations with clients.
What we're looking for:
We are looking for an
experienced Document Specialist
who has advanced knowledge of key software packages such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Visio and PDF applications such as Adobe Pro.
You'll also have:
Previous experience of working with complex documents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to be flexible to manage workload and prioritise effectively
Be a great team player but have the ability to work on your own
Ability to problem solve with a methodological and logical approach
